W.E. = The Frogger

Brace yourself, Lubeck. You are about to be launched via pastry back to the wedding of one of the most dashing and romantic Nazi sympathizers of the entire British royal family! - J.Peterman

It sounds like the lead character of Madonna’s W.E. is a lot like Elaine Bennis in the Seinfeld episode “The Frogger”. Its the one where Elaine eats the slice of Wallis Simpson’s Wedding Cake.

Fortunately we know how much the wedding cake fetched at THAT VERY AUCTION!

From the Seinfeld episode:

Also, both W.E. and “The Frogger” take place in 1998.
